When the airflow enters the high-voltage electrostatic field, under the action of the high-voltage electric field, the oil fume gas is ionized, and the oil mist becomes charged, with most of it being degraded and carbonized.

A small portion of tiny oil particles move toward the positive and negative plates of the electric field under the combined action of the electric field force and airflow, are collected on the plates, and flow into the oil collection tray under their own gravity, then discharged through the oil drainage channel. The remaining micron-level oil mist is degraded by the electric field into carbon dioxide and water, ultimately releasing clean air.
